This week has been the most emotional week of my life. Emotions are not something that I talk about openly. Mostly because I don't want to be "that girl" who can't appreciate life as it is. I don't want to be the girl who doesn't understand just how good she has it. But when your heart is laid out and exposed and the reply is nothing but heart wrenching, you can't help but wonder what the hell life is handing you.
Speaking up and speaking your soul is a difficult measure to take. I wouldn't do it so expressively if I did not believe my words with every bone in my body.
With that being said, I so so so thankful for beautiful people in my life, who lift my spirits and make me realize that this life really is beautiful, even when the clouds seem to roll on in and make themselves at home. Chelsea and I went to the rathskeller last night, it's a local restaurant/ bar in Indy that has live music at times. Last night Jessica Rae was playing. I only caught the last 30 minutes of her show but, from what I saw, she was incredible. Her voice had an organic sound to it. She also was the most down- to- earth person, which Chelsea and I learned when we chatted with her after the show. Best of luck, Miss Rae.
