wonderstruck

Last night was the 2011 Taylor Swift Speak Now Tour. Are there any other words that need to be said? I know, I know, you either hate her or love her. But, I love her! I am an unashamed swifty... for life.

"Real life is a funny thing, you know.
In real life, saying the right thing at the right
moment is beyond crucial. So crucial, in fact,
that most of us start to hesitate for fear of
saying the wrong thing at the wrong time.
But lately what I've begun to fear more than that
is letting the moment pass without saying
anything. I think you deserve to look back on
your life without this chorus of resounding voices
saying, 'I could've but it's too late now'. So
there's a time for silence, and there's a time for
waiting your turn. But if you know how you feel,
and you so clearly know what you need to say,
you'll know it. I don't think you should wait.
I think you should speak now." -Taylor Swift

read it and weep.

Chelsea went to the chapel :)

My best friend Mrs. Chelsea McFarland got married this past week. The ceremony was pretty last minute so we threw her the best bachelorette part we knew how to throw! Prior to this, I was a virgin at throwing these little shindigs. However, with the help of ashley and dre, I think we made it pretty kickass. I mean, all it really took was a couple shots of vodka. #longlivevod

Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. McFarland. I wish you a LIFETIME of happiness and love.

peace

And when they prevailed over them, the Hagrites and all who were with them were given into their hands, for they cried out to God in the battle, and he granted their urgent plea because they TRUSTED in him.
—1 Chronicles 5:20

oh yah... and I think TRUST and PATIENCE are two of the biggest lessons I will have to learn in this life.

I have brown hair

...and I'm off to see Time Mcgraw tonight! pictures to come soon:)

Not to mention the fact that I have an exam in the morning and a therapy session tomorrow afternoon. Real life can suck sometimes but I would not trade it for anything. We don't always get these moments back, ya know?

oh, and HAPPY WEEK UNTIL YOUR WEDDING, CHELSEA HEATH! You are going to make such a BEAUTIFUL bride and I cannot wait to celebrate with you next weekend. I pray for a LIFETIME of love, happiness, and blessings for you and Chris!

it's funny how things change. it's also funny how they don't

22 years have gone by in my life! That's a little strange to think about. I always imagined 22 to be so stinkin' old. Now that I am here, I'm almost afraid to go forward. I've realized lately that me gaining a year is not really a huge deal at this point in my life. I don't really realize its significance. However, someday there will come a time when I long for these years back like I long for some of my earlier ones back.

What a scary thing time is...

I hope this weekend you are able to bask in the time that you do have. Wherever you may be, I hope you are able to embrace the 4th of July and remember what exactly it took for us, as a country, to get to this place in time. Don't ever forget that we are still fighting to stay here.

Thanks to all of those who have fought past, present, and future for us to be able to celebrate such a beautiful day!
